| Ingredients for Syrian Wheat Pudding 8 Servings 1 1/2 cups bulgar (cracked wheat) 4 cups water 1 cup raisins 1/2 tsp. caraway seeds 1 Tbsp. pistachio nuts, shelled 1 Tbsp walnuts, shelled & chopped 1/4 cup maple syrup Directions Place bulgar, water, raisins, and caraway seeds in a covered pot. Cook over medium heat for 30 minutes. Stir occasionally. Add nuts and syrup. Simmer 5 minutes longer. Serve warm. |
